This week's CSAs have the following items:
Small Veggies with Fruit:
broccoli or escarole, potatoes, either cabbage, celery root or Brussels sprouts, Mutsu apples, spinach or Romaine, a dark leafy green: either kale, Swiss Chard, mustard greens, or dandelion greens
Fuji apples, and either fennel, arugula, or scallions.
herb: rosemary, thyme, or parsley.
Large Veggies with Fruit: parsnips or baby bok choy, rutabaga, beets or scallions, broccoli or escarole, potatoes, either cabbage, celery root, or Brussels sprouts, Mutsu apples, spinach or Romaine, a leafy green: either kale, Swiss chard, mustard green or dandelion greens, Fuji apples, plus either fennel, arugula, or scallions. The herb is either rosemary, thyme, or parsley.
Fruit Only Shares: Granny Smith apples. Pink Lady apples, Gold Rush (new!) apples. and a pint or apple cider.
Plus, the seasonal fruit of the week is Gold Rush apples. This is a new variety of apples for us! They are sweet and quite similar to Golden Delicious.
