Shares Week of February 27, 2017

Small/Large Veggies with Fruit Shares: Brussels sprouts, carrots, kale (either green or Tuscan), onions, gold potatoes, baby bok choy or broccoli, thyme or parsley, and Pink Lady apples.

Large Veggies with Fruit Shares: All of the above and spinach, parsnips, spring mix, broccoli rabe or broccoli, oregano, and Fuji apples.

Fruit Only Shares: Dried strawberries, and a trio of apples varieties - Jonagold, Rome, and Golden Delicious.

Share week of February 20

Small/ Large Veggies with Fruit Shares:  broccoli, spinach, potatoes (red or baking), arugula or kale, broccoli rabe, carrots, cilantro, and a mix of apples.

Large Veggies with Fruit Shares: all of the above plus collard greens or Swiss chard, spring (almost) mix, 1/2 celery root or parsnips or turnips, onions, and mint.

Fruit Only Shares: Granny Smith apples, Fuji apples, Pink Lady apples and a jar of pears.

Shares week of 2/13/17

Boy is it windy!

Small/Large Veggies with Fruit: escarole, sweet potatoes, swiss chard, red onions, fennel, salad greens, bosc pears, pink lady apples, and parsley or rosemary.

Large Veggies with Fruit: the above plus garlic, acorn squash, spinach, carrots, jonagold apples, and dill.

Fruit Only: apple cider, bosc pears, mutsu apples, and cameo apples.

Shares week of 2/6/17

Small/Large Veggies with Fruit: Brussels sprouts (with a recipe), broccoli or cauliflower, parsnips, kohlrabi and/or gold potatoes, garlic, lettuce, rosemary, mixed apples, and dried apples.

Large Veggies with Fruit: all of the above plus radishes, crimini mushrooms, carrots, kale, and thyme.

Fruit Only: dried cranberries, Fuji apples, Granny Smith apples, and Bosc pears.

Highland Orchards Farm Market, is a small, family-owned and operated farm in northern Delaware, established 1832. We grow fruits and vegetables without synthetic chemicals or pesticides. We sell our produce through our farm market located on the farm, through our CSA program, and at two farmers’ markets in Philadelphia. Real food, a real farm, for people who really like to eat!
