Cilantro, also known as Coriander, is an herb that looks similar to flat leaf parsley, but has a very different taste. It is often added at the end of cooking or as a garnish. It is a common ingredient in salsa and Mexican dishes.
Storage: Keep in a plastic bag in the refrigerator or store the stems in a jar of water in the fridge (just like a bouquet of flowers). Wash just before using.
Preparation: Wash thoroughly and dry (especially when using as a garnish). The whole plant is edible so feel free to toss in the stems along with the leaves.
