Dandelion greens are bitter greens that are full of vitamins like A & K and minerals. They are a cultivated version of what you have growing in your yard.
They can grow year-round but best time is March-June and September-December.
Storage: Keep in a bag in the fridge. Do not wash until you are ready to use.
Preparation: Wash thoroughly and pat dry. Chop or tear into bite sized pieces. Dandelion greens can be eaten raw or cooked; cooking will mellow the bitter flavor.
