Broccoli Rabe

Broccoli Rabe is a bitter green that looks like little heads of broccoli surrounded by lots of leaves. However it is related to turnips, so don't expect a broccoli flavor when you take a bite! You can eat the florets, leaves, and stems.

Storage: Keep broccoli rabe in a plastic bag in the fridge for up to a week. Removing any leaves/heads that are yellowing or getting slimy.

Preparation: Wash and dry broccoli rabe just before using. Remove the bottom inch or so of the stems if necessary (may be tough).
