Dill is a sweet herb with green feathery leaves; it belongs to the same family as parsley and fennel. It is often used in soups, stews, salads, and for pickling (yep, there is Dill in Dill Pickles). 
Storage: Keep dill in a plastic bag in the fridge for up to a week. Do not wash until just before using. 
Preparation: rinse and dry just before adding to your dish.
