Bok Choy

Bok choy is a cold-hardy leafy green. It has a wide firm stem and wide flat leaves. You will see green and red varieties from us. It has a slightly bitter taste. Bok choy makes a nice addition to salads, soups, and stir-fries.

Storage: Keep bok choy in a plastic bag in the fridge for up to a week. Remove any yellow or slimy leaves as soon as you see them. Do not wash until you are ready to use.

Red Bok Choy
Preparation: Pull the leaves off of the base and wash under cool water. Slice/rip and add to your dish. The stems will take longer to cook than the leaves so add the stems to the pan first if you don't want crunchy bok choy.
