Arugula

Arugula is a leafy green with serrated leaves - it looks similar to the dandelion leaves growing in your yard. It is a peppery green which will add a nice bite to your dishes, especially when eaten raw.

Storage
Store arugula in a plastic bag in your refrigerator for 2-7 days. The drier it is, the longer it will keep. Do not wash your arugula until you are ready to use it.

Preparation
Since arugula is a low growing green, you want to make sure you wash it thoroughly before using/eating.

Add to salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, soups, pesto, use as a pizza topping, and more!
Can substitute for endive, mustard greens, dandelion greens, spinach, and watercress.
